Our addition to 20 SCOOT game (write the room) is a classroom favourite, perfect for reinforcing the concept of addition and using a number line.
I love incorporating scoot games into my lessons and so do my students. They are a quick and effective tool for pre-assessing my students knowledge or tracking their growth in a fun and engaging way. Scoot games can be used as a whole class activity or small groups. My class particularly love when I hide the task cards around the room. They have a blast scooting around the room looking at the different addition cards and recording their answers on their scoot sheet.
This activity will keep your students engaged, active and having fun while showing what they know about addition to 20!
